Why fine-craft furniture maker Matt Eastvold says Piece-o-Sheet “works great”

Meet Matt Eastvold, the design genius behind Minnesota-based fine-craft furniture company Eastvold Furniture.

Matt recently took advantage of Intectural’s new Piece-o-Sheet offering, which lets you buy small pieces of material for testing/prototyping and small projects.

Matt ordered a 24×24-inch piece of Plyboo Linear to make prototype doors for his elegant Elko Credenza. With Piece-o-Sheet, Matt was able to make a prototype, get photography for marketing, and test the material before he decides whether he wants to stock the item or offer it as a custom upgrade.

Our team at Intectural met up with Matt to see how his project was going. Check out the video and photos below to see Matt and Piece-o-Sheet in action.

We had a great time with Matt at his shop in Northfield Minnesota. He’s a down-to-earth, fun guy who puts out an extremely high-end product. Plus, he uses only quality, sustainable materials, which is what we’re all about. You can follow him on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest for his latest in contemporary handmade furniture.

I’ll leave you with a couple photos of Matt’s finished product. If you can’t already tell, we’re pretty much in love with his Elko Credenza – and all his furniture, for that matter. Drum roll please …
